How to Participate

​Land Owners

 

If you own property at Pt. Lookout, you may qualify to donate a portion of your land to the Pt. Lookout Land Conservancy as a Conservation Easement. Conservation Easements are tax deductible contributions of real property to a Land Conservancy or other such entity. In return for your tax deductible contribution, you must sign a document that prohibits any development on that part of your property in perpetuity. Each Conservation Easement is negotiated individually. Please contact Holly MacDonald-Korth at hkorth@jwkorth.com if you are interested in exploring donating through a Conservation Easement.

 

Cash Donations

 

Cash donations are always appreciated. Funds are used to acquire additional properties as well as to help pay taxes on the existing properties and for any environmental cleanup necessary on a property. All of the Board members of the Pt. Lookout Land Conservancy are volunteers. None are financially compensated in any way.

 

Visit the Point Store

The Point Store is located on the corner of Pt Lookout Road, Foster Road right on US-23. The Point Store was purchase as part of a larger parcel of land and is now operated as part of the PLLC's not-for-profit business. The store stocks local produce and meats and is open seasonally.
